Why can't I see nearby events?

Near You and distance filters need location permission, enough physical events nearby, and a supported browser. Virtual events are excluded.

  • Attendees

If the Near You section, distance labels, or map radius filter are not working, check the cases below before contacting support.

Near You section missing on the homepage

  • Location blocked: Open browser settings for Endzah and allow location, then reload the homepage.
  • Not enough events nearby: Near You appears only when at least three physical events fall within about 20 km. Quiet areas may not meet that threshold even when location works.
  • Permission still loading: The section stays hidden until location resolves. Wait a moment and reload if needed.

Distance labels missing on cards or event pages

  • Location not allowed: Grant permission and reload the page.
  • Online event: Virtual listings do not show distance.
  • Organizer location incomplete: Rare cases where a listing lacks map coordinates may show without distance.

Map radius filter empty or disabled

  • Location denied: Distance filtering is disabled until you allow location. You can still use Anywhere and other filters.
  • Radius too small: Try 25 km, 50 km, or 100 km in less dense parishes.
  • Virtual events: Online-only events never appear in radius results.
  • Map area: Pan and zoom to the region you are searching, then reapply filters.

Browser and device notes

  • Use an up-to-date mobile or desktop browser. Some in-app browsers limit geolocation.
  • If you denied location permanently, reset the permission in site settings.

What Endzah does not do today

  • Driving-time or navigation directions to venues
  • Saved home or work location on your profile
