Publish free and paid events
Free events can publish after onboarding. Your first paid listing requires verification before tickets go on sale.

Publishing makes your listing public. Free and paid events follow different requirements.
Free events
- Finish organizer onboarding.
- Complete your event draft with at least one free RSVP or free tier.
- Tap Publish in the editor.
- The listing appears on the map and event browse surfaces.
Paid events
- Complete the same event setup, including paid ticket types and prices.
- Apply for verification if you are not verified yet.
- After approval, publish the event with paid tiers enabled.
- Attendees can tap Get tickets when sales are open.
What to expect
- You can edit many details after publishing. Major changes notify people who saved or bought tickets when applicable.
- Switching an event to paid pricing after launch may be blocked if your account is not verified.
Limitations
- Cancelled events stop new sales but remain visible with a cancelled status.
- Verification is optional for free events. It is required before your first paid listing can go live.
