How attendees find events nearby
Accurate venues and addresses put your physical events in Near You, on the map radius filter, and in distance labels attendees see when browsing.
- Organizers
When attendees allow location, Endzah matches their position to physical events with accurate map coordinates. Your listing quality directly affects whether you appear in nearby discovery.
How attendees discover events nearby
- Homepage Near You: physical events within about 20 km when at least three qualify in that area.
- Distance labels: straight-line distance on cards and listings (for example 2.4 km away).
- Map radius filter: attendees can limit the events map to 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100 km from their location.
What your listing needs
- A physical location (not virtual-only) for in-person events.
- A selected venue with coordinates, or a complete address that resolves to a map pin.
- Published, public, upcoming status so discoverable filters include the event.
Best practices
- Pick an existing venue profile when one matches your room or site.
- Double-check the map pin before you publish. A wrong pin can hide you from the right neighborhood or show you in the wrong place.
- Fill in parish and venue name consistently so attendees recognize the location on cards.
- For one-off addresses, enter the full street or landmark details rather than a vague area name.
What to expect
- Virtual and online-only events are excluded from nearby and radius discovery by design.
- Sparse areas may not show a Near You rail for every attendee even when your event is map-ready.
- Editing the venue or address after publish updates discovery once coordinates resolve.
Limitations
- Endzah shows straight-line distance, not drive time.
- Near You needs three or more physical events near the attendee. A single listing in a quiet area may not trigger the homepage rail for every user.
