Allow ticket transfers for your event
Turn on ticket transfers in your event editor so buyers can send a secure claim link to someone else before your deadline.
- Organizers
Ticket transfers let a buyer send their pass to another person with a secure claim link. You control whether transfers are allowed and when they close.
How to allow transfers
- Open My events and edit the event you want to update.
- Go to the Settings step in the editor.
- Find Ticket transfers and turn on Allow ticket transfers.
- Optional: set Transfer deadline in hours before start. Transfers stop inside that window.
- Optional: turn on Allow re-transfer if someone who received a ticket may send it again.
- Save or publish your changes.
What to expect
- When transfers are on, buyers see a transfer option from My tickets.
- The original QR code stops working after the recipient claims the ticket.
- You can change transfer settings on a live event. Existing pending transfers follow the rules in place when they were sent.
Limitations
- Transfers only work when you enable them for that event.
- Refunded, cancelled, or checked-in tickets cannot be transferred.
- When re-transfer is off, tickets received via transfer cannot be sent to a third person.

Claim a ticket someone sent you
Open the claim link from the transfer email, sign in with the recipient email, and the ticket moves to My tickets with a new QR code.
A ticket transfer didn't arrive
Check spam, confirm the sender used the right email, and ask them to verify the transfer is still pending in My tickets.
