Understanding promo code performance
Uses counts redemptions. Discount given sums savings. Revenue generated sums buyer order totals. Average order value is revenue divided by uses.
- Organizers
Track promo performance on the Discount codes page and event hub summary. Uses: Successful redemptions when an order is created with the code. Discount given: Total discount amount across all redemptions. Revenue generated: Sum of buyer order totals for orders that used the code (after discount and fees). Average order value: Revenue generated divided by uses. Shows 0 when there are no uses yet. Remaining uses: Usage limit minus redemptions, or Unlimited when no cap is set.
Example
EARLY20 with 47 uses, J$18,800 discount given, J$211,000 revenue generated, average order value about J$4,489.
Tips
- Compare revenue generated across codes to see which campaigns drive paid orders.
- Pending unpaid orders still count as uses.
- Deactivating a code does not erase historical metrics.

How promo code usage limits work
Usage limits cap total redemptions. Per-person limits cap how many times one account can use a code. Leave either blank for unlimited use.
